Hi Bob and sorry for the delayed welcome ... i've been away for a bit.

Marco is a very handsome fella!!...(thanks Linda for uploading for Bob ... that was so nice of you!)  Marco certainly gives you all his attention and looks like quite an intelligent companion!

Olesia, owned by Izzy-45lb SWD, Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.3, Stable almost 7 yrs! Once stable, was able to reduce enzymes to only 1/2 tsp of Enzymes with each meal, but after almost 4 years of stabilization... had to increase the amount of enzymes to 3/4 teaspoon with each meal. Feed various grain-free kibble+real meat, 6x pancreatin enzymes from EnzymeDiane. I give 1 tsp of coconut oil one day and 1 tsp salmon oil next day, and also give canned sardines packed without salt or canned herring for extra omega oils.

Linda thanks for posting the pics. This are pics at a great time in his life where his EPI was under control and he hadn't begun have age related "other ailments."  Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Hi, Oh you mean like in the prime of their life! :)  Yes, I know what happens when dogs get older... Tess (on the left) in my profile picture was already battling HD, Cushings, Hypothyroidism and IBD...Here's a picture of Tara taken just a month ago...She's in the prime of her life at 6 years old. Really, I'm just practicing putting photos in her as I forget  a lot lately...Must be an old age thing. :D

Bob:

You are very welcome, I loved posting the pictures of your beautiful boy.

The following is a picture of Dakota...who looks a little travel worn and wise.  It was taken about a year and a half before I lost him.  There's something about the old guys that just grab my heart.

Ah!!!! Donna.  Tara looks just beautiful in this photo.  Certainly in the prime of her life.  She looks very happy & healthy.  Think she is asking someone to play ball with her. :)

Linda, Dakota is beautiful also.  I agree with you.  I love the oldies.  He certainly looks like a very special boy.  I'm sure you miss him lots.

Ahhh Donna and Linda, such beautiful companions. Their photos are truly heart-melting and, indeed, the oldies have an exceptional beauty that grabs the heart strings, especially when they have walked through life with many problems. Bless their hearts.

Here is a picture of our late GSD, Regan. He was 6 years old when he collapsed and died whilst on a walk with my hubby. it was a sudden unexpected loss. Cardiomyopathy was the suspected cause.

Ahh, They were all so beautiful.

It doesn't matter how young or old, they are all still missed so much.

We were blessed to have had them..

For those of you who haven't seen a photo of Bonnie, here is one of my favourites.

Its been four weeks today since I lost my darling Bonnie......she was my heart dog. Such a beauty.

Julie, Val and Debra:

Regan was a truly beautiful boy and I'm so sorry you lost him.  It's wonderful to be able to watch them grow old...it's sad too.  I know that I've said this many times but no matter how long we have these sweet critterkids of ours...it's just never long enough.

Alfie and Dilly are beautiful babies too...how did we all get so lucky?  I truly consider these guys among God's finest gifts to us.  You have been so very blessed.

I know how hard it still is...Bonnie was a special girl and you'll always love and miss her.  Just think how many special critterkids she's loved by...and one day, you'll see your special girl again.
