Hi everyone...

I am pleased to be able to announce that the 2010 epi4dogs calendar is ready for purchase!




This calendar is was created with pictures from our FORUM members... after the cost of the calendar production and mailing charges, all proceeds go directly to Dr. Leigh Anne Clark at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, U.S.A.  .......Dr. Clark is working on EPI Genetic Research in an effort to identify the EPI Genetic marker(s).


I hope you will consider buying one and supporting the EPI cause. These calendars will make wonderful holiday gifts and will also be a great keepsake of friends that you have come to know on your EPI journey.

Olesia, owned by Izzy-45lb SWD, Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.3, Stable almost 7 yrs! Once stable, was able to reduce enzymes to only 1/2 tsp of Enzymes with each meal, but after almost 4 years of stabilization... had to increase the amount of enzymes to 3/4 teaspoon with each meal. Feed various grain-free kibble+real meat, 6x pancreatin enzymes from EnzymeDiane. I give 1 tsp of coconut oil one day and 1 tsp salmon oil next day, and also give canned sardines packed without salt or canned herring for extra omega oils.

Thank you Frank.... I had SO many great pictures that I only wished this could have been an 18 month calendar instead of a 12 month calendar. But there is always next year..... AND one of our members gave me an idea for a possible spring-time project... so please tell Terry to kick you all the way to your computer and still email me those pictures :D

It's a most beautiful calender and a touching tribute to Bonnie.

Elly from the UK owned by long haired GSD called Tyler ...8 months old.  9/27/09 Weight 52 pounds.... TLI = 4.4 not diagnosed as EPI but commenced on Panzym. Cobalamin = 339 .. Folate = 14.6 .. Nature diet puppy/junior and Eukanuba puppy. 11/13/09 update - weight 69 lbs, Enzymes discontinued.

I adore the calendar!  Congratulations on a superb job - WELL DONE YOU!!!!  Wow ...... The poop pics are a splendid addition as with UK/EU holidays - Excellent Olesia!!! :D I must also get one for my daughter - she'll love it!  And all those lovely poochie-babes - they are gorgeous!

 

Your wonderful tribute to beautiful Bonnie is extremely touching and very heartwarming. I adore Bonnie's photos - she is divine!!!

Angel, German Shepherd. Diagnosed epi 14th Aug. 09. TLI result 2. B12 *683 - Very good range. Folate 13.2 - normal. Lowest weight 30kg/66lbs. Went up to 33.3kg/73.2lbs in ten days. Heaviest weight 40.75kg / 81lb. Now on steady diet - current weight 39.5kg / 79lb. Orijen diet. Good on Total-Zymes, plant-based enzymes in addition to CREON 10000 enzymes for giving treats, but recently changed fully over to CREON for convenience. Angel is currently stable. The calendar is absolutely beautiful.  You have done an amazing job.  Thankyou so much.  Loved it that Bonnie is on the front page &

also the back page is a lovely tribute.  I'm sure Debra is very emotional but happy that you've done this.  She will be very proud, I'm sure.  It is a very beautiful front page as are all the pages.  It is wonderful. 

I'm now going to work out how to order.

The calendar is awesome, I can't wait to get one.  What a fine looking bunch of dogs we have............

 

The pictures of Bonnie are beautiful and dedicating it to her memory is so touching and so very fitting.  It's exactly what I would have expected out of this group of caring people.

Claire, permanent foster dog for New Rattitude Rat Terrier Rescue.  Pulled from a county shelter 07/29/09.  Diagnosed with EPI and Diabetes.  cTLI 1.9, Folate 7.7, Cobalamin 266.  Started B-12 shots 9/8/09.  Currently being fed 2x a day,  Wellness Core Ocean Formula, both dry and canned.   1/2 Tsp Pancreatin with each feeding, incubate 20 min.  Novolin N, 3.5u, 2X a day.  Initial weight 7.2 lbs, current weight 11.2 lbs.

Akira 101 lb GSD, DOB 9/18/03 Dx'd around her first birthday.  First TLI score 1.1, retested 9/07 score had lowered to 0.7.  "Normally" eats 2 cups Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream Canine Formula, twice daily.  2 t Pancreatin (or 1 t per cup of food) 8x enzymes given right before each meal in heaping t meat baby food with warm water and mixed to a gruel type texture.
