Olesia, owned by Izzy-45lb SWD, Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.3, Stable almost 4 yrs! Once stable, was able to reduce enzymes to only 1/2 tsp of Enzymes with each meal, but after amost 4 years of stabilization...recently had to increase the amount of enzymse to 3/4 of a teaspoon with each meal. Feed various grain-free kibble+real meat, 6x pancreatin enzymes from EnzymeDiane. Give 1 tsp of coconut oil one day and salmon oil next day, and also give canned sardines packed without salt or canned herring for extra omega oils.

Hi Olesia,

This list is excellent, but I needed to comment here... Don't I always..  My dogs LOVE tomatoes and pick them off the vine in my garden, but only when they're ripe...   They have never caused problems and if you remember, I could only get Tara to eat in the early days with ketchup...   That said, it's not the fruit, but the plant itself (night shade variety) that is toxic... I have found the ASPCA site to be most helpful in knowing what's good or bad to feed:

http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/poison-control/a-poison-safe-home.html

Of course there are many others, but these are the big hitters...

Gem once got hold of some Mushroom Pilau rice after we had had an Indian take away - she must have known the mushrooms were going to be on the bad list because she spat them out all over the floor and ate all the rice!

She cries for a slice of cucumber when we are making salads :-(

Donna, All my dogs like meals with tomatoes in it... however, that is correct, it is really the green parts of the tomato plant that is bad... I will fix that in the post so as not to mislead folks.....but I willalso include, not to over-do because of the high acid content...and thanks for the other LINK also.

Gemma likes slices of Cukes???? .... my dogs won't touch cukes... smart of Gemma to spit the mushrooms out.!
