Oh Kelly.  You don't have to leave.  From your experience you can help others.  I know it hurts and is so hard.  But you are welcome to stick around.  There is plenty of room for everyone.  Please at least let us know how you are doing now and then?  Hugs to you.

Of course you can stay, and we WANT you to stay!!!!! There is plenty of room for you and  thousands more (i'm not kidding either... !!)

Boomer struggled so hard and you did have some "successes",, i just know that he would want you to share with others.... you never know who's experience might help someone else with their struggles.

And of course, as Karen says, we will want to see and hear all about your new puppy when you get him or her.

Just remember, you always will be part of the EPI family... so please post anytime you want!

Ahh Kelly, I know it hurts.. a lot. But Boomer didn't live in vain, he, thru you, can help others find their way, and YES you DID help Boomer, he was looking very well and you did achieve many success with his EPI, he just had something else that was going on that he succumbed too.

Debra posted a beautiful poem to you in honor of Boomer and i uploaded it onto the Memorail page... did you see it?

My heart dropped to my toes a few minutes ago when I read your post...I'm so glad that Karen and Olesia both were here and jumped in to tell you that not only are you welcome to stay here, you are needed.  We all cared very much about Boomer.  If you need to change your picture for now, that's up to you, but one day if you do, you'll want it back.  I'm so glad that you've decided to stay...your love for Boomer, and your experience is needed here to help others.  We are a family, bonded by our love for these babies and caring about their humans.  You didn't realize that you'd be stuck with us huh???

You sure are stuck with us!

I felt such a loss when you said you would leave... we need all the help you can give when it comes to this EPI. With every dog being different you may just have the answer to a problem from your experience that the rest of us don't have. Just as all our dogs are unique... so our carers are unique too.

I know it hurts so bad and if you feel you can't join in that is OK and if you want to change your picture that's OK too.... but we are here and we care, so if you feel like talking about EPI or Boomer... or the new pup when you get one... we are a family and you have a place here.

I agree with everyone else here Kelly.   You are family & we don't want to lose you.   You can help lots of new people by staying with us & sharing your knowledge.  AND, of course we'd love to share in your joy of a new puppy when you get one.  Boomer was an absolutely gorgeous boy & will be in your heart forever.

Hi Kelly,

Didn't you know??? This place is the Hotel California...You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave!

Seriously, you have a lot to offer folks and I'm glad others have talked you into staying...I look at EPI as a series of battles, but we have yet to win the war...Yes, casualties happen in battles and unfortunately, you lost Boomer in one of those battles and I cried my heart out for both of you...BUT, until EPI is irradicated, this is an all out WAR and we need all the soldiers we can get...I think Boomer would be proud of you as a soldier, fighting for this very important cause.

Passing on enzymes is a lovely jesture.

Debra did the same for me when Bonnie left us... she sent me the rest of the Lypex for Razzy and I LOVE her for that.

Stick around, mate.... I'm sure someone on here will be glad of those Tryplase... if not there are others on another group called Global who would be glad of them.

Ah Kelly,

Do you remember when you first posted and the replies you got............didn't you feel relieved you'd found people who understood exactly what you were going through.......and knowing you could share those little successes, those little weight gains...wasn't it the best feeling to know you could vent anger when things were going tits up?

You can do that for someone else new to EPI, you can share your thoughts.

I too thought what use could I be when I lost Bonnie....because I'd failed hadn't I, I didn't manage to keep her alive like everyone else here?  I also thought I wouldn't be able to read posts anymore.  But with support from my dear friends here, I tiptoed in, hid behind the curtains and just started reading a few..........and then would find myself thinking I wondered if they've tried this or that.  I realised what I had learned with Bonnie would be wasted and if I could help even just with support then Bonnie's passing wouldn't have been for nothing.

I know about seeing Boomers photo, I felt the same, but decided that was the photo we joined with so thats the one that will stay.  I just changed my signature to honour my beautiful girl and put a photo of her as a puppy sleeping in Mums arms...Happy memories.

I do hope you do pop in and especially to let us see your new edition when he/she comes............

Remember - You can take the EPI gal out of forum but you can't take the EPI outta the gal!!
