finding this hard to believe that penny could be back to her old self soon, fridays weigh in for 3rd week and she has now gone from 4.35 to 4.75 to today a massive 5.35kgm little things are returning like wriggleing on her back ! much more energy , interested in what going on around her ,i look at her now and yes we going to get this beat , dont know who i wanted to hug the most penny or the vet !!! ( penny of course )

Owned by Tara, a 6 YO GSD w/EPI dx'd at about a year old. Fed Taste of the Wild High Prarie formular kibble and enhance this diet with cooked meat, veggies and fruit, Enzynes: Pancreatin 8x - 1 tsp per cup of food. This is wonderful news...thank you for keep us posted. I remember how shocked I was when I had to put Akira on a diet...who would have ever thought? Believe it or not, it was a wonderful feeling and made me laugh. I'm not saying that I hope you'll have to put Penny on a diet soon...but each ounce is a celebration. I love good news!!! | |

-- Linda, Akira, Indy and the bratcats Akira 101 lb GSD, DOB 9/18/03 Dx'd around her first birthday. First TLI score 1.1, retested 9/07 score had lowered to 0.7. "Normally" eats 2 cups (lately eating only 1- 1/2 cups) Eagle Pack Holistic duck and oatmeal, twice daily. 2 t Pancreatin (or 1 t per cup of food) 8x enzymes given right before each meal in heaping t meat baby food with warm water and mixed to a gruel type texture.

-- Olesia, owned by Izzy-45lb SWD, Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.3, Stable almost 4 yrs! Once stable, was able to reduce enzymes to only 1/2 tsp of Enzymes with each meal, but after amost 4 years of stabilization...recently had to increase the amount of enzymse to 3/4 of a teaspoon with each meal. Feed various grain-free kibble+real meat, 6x pancreatin enzymes from EnzymeDiane. Give 1 tsp of coconut oil one day and salmon oil next day, and also give canned sardines packed without salt or canned herring for extra omega oils.

my penny is now 7.35kgms she back to her old self hair growing back , I think this is great 3mths ago she was a sad sorry state at just 4.15kgms , vet said tonight he thinks she is now at her ideal weight and called her fatty !! never thought we would get this far !! whoop whoop shirley &( penny) | |
