Hi guys I prepped Mishka's enzymes this morning then had a vets visit (unexpected time change from this afternoon to in 20 minutes sil vous plait!). He had to be sedated to have a real good look because he is a complete woos when it comes to his ears (inflamation of the ears we suspect swimmers ear as there was nothing in them) so we have only just got back and of course he cannot now eat for several hours. I will throw the prepped stuff but if its fine to feed later on then I will but it would have sat for 6 or 7 hours....its tryplase if that makes a difference.. Still waiting for pooh results!

Hi Laura,
You know I don't know with the Tryplase???? With the Pancreatin that I use, it would be fine as long as it was warmed up again, but with this stuff I don't know...Hopefully one of our UK friends will jump in here.

HI Laura ~ I checked in our FILES the application of Tryplase... and it needs to be incubated on the food..... so my "guess" is that if you put it back in the refrigerator and take out later, bring up to room temperature slowly (maybe using one pot with hot water... and letting the bowl of food with the Tryplase enzymes float around in it.).... until it comes up to slightly warm or room temperature and then serve..... should be okay............ HOWEVER... hopefully one of our UK users of Tryplase chimes in.... because they are the ones with actual experience in this.....

-- Olesia, owned by Izzy-45lb SWD, Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.3, Stable almost 6 yrs! Once stable, was able to reduce enzymes to only 1/2 tsp of Enzymes with each meal, but after almost 4 years of stabilization... had to increase the amount of enzymes to 3/4 to 1 teaspoon with each meal. Feed various grain-free kibble+real meat, 6x pancreatin enzymes from EnzymeDiane. I give 1 tsp of coconut oil one day and 1 tsp salmon oil next day, and also give canned sardines packed without salt or canned herring for extra omega oils.

Hi Laura. I have never left Tryplase for more than an hour at room temperature... BUT if you put it in the fridge it should be OK... do what Olesia says and bring back to room temperature slowly in WARM (not hot) water. The cool fridge will slow the enzymes down so they will be inactive.... the only thing is your dog may detect a slight change of taste and if he is like Razzy will turn up his nose at it..... most dogs don't bother... my girl is just a fussy bitch. Now serving kibble with Tryplase in morning and raw with Lypex capsules evening and supper...she has her paws round my heart big time. Wouldn't you know it? She LIKES Lypex... but it causes an allergy. She DOESN'T like Tryplase but she is stuck with it! Out with the tempters.... I lost my Razzy with cancer of the spleen 30th June 2011... Rest in peace my love.
