Hello Everyone

Wanted to drop in and say Yay, Yay, Yay, for doing so well in the Pepsi Challenge.  I vote as often as I can and have passed the word along to others. Hopefully you can hold onto this position, I know the money will be put to good use.

I'm shocked and heartbroken to read about Megg, and right now I can't begin to post much of anything.

I did want to pass along the news that Claire is scheduled for cataract removal next Wed.  She will have thorough exam and pre surg lab work on Monday, if all looks good we'll proceed with the surg.  Please keep her in your prayers, it will be a beautiful thing to give her back her sight and cataract surgery is pretty minor, but as can be expected..............I will be a basket case until it's over.

Love

Sue and Claire

Yay, Claire!  I have been wondering how she's been doing.  I won't be able to be there w/you, as I am now down S, darn it all.  I am sure she will be fine and  you will, also.   I will be w/ you in spirit, though.  Oh Sue, this is fantastic news.  I have so been waiting for this day.  Fingers crossed all the blood work goes great and she finally, finally gets to have her surgery and can see again.  She deserves this.

We are all shocked and saddened about Megg.  But Lynn would wants us to go on helping all these others that need help.  Just as Megg was so special, her mum is, also, and cares about all these guys.

Hugs to you and Claire and keep us updated!

I think of you and Claire often...I'm so glad to hear that's she's doing well.  Please, please, please keep us posted about her surgery.

Karen is right, each of the dogs here are very important to Lynn and it's important to her that we all continue to help each other.  Megg was a special girl and I know that Lynn will appreciate knowing you care.

Hi Sue,

We will keep Claire  in our thoughts and prayers for Wednesday that everything goes just fine.  I have a giant supply of candles and I will light one for Claire on Wednesday.   Please try to relax (so hard, I know) and let us know how the surgery goes.

Claire had her pre surgical labs and exam today.  Everything looks good.  She's scheduled for 11:00 surgery on Wed, they'll perform an ocular ultrasound prior to the surgery, to make certain her retinas are still healthy and that she remains a good candidate for cataract removal.  I'm getting very excited and very nervous.  I can't wait to see her reaction to having her sight back.

We're asking for all the prayers and positive thoughts we can get.  This little trooper has faced several challenges in the past year, I long to make her life a little easier.  I'll let you know the outcome as soon as I can get near a computer.
