I just made an appointment with the vet...Zeke has a lipoma which has grown quite large.  The last couple of days he's really been "off" his food more than normal...He's not your typical Corgi in that he's doesn't eat everything not "nailed down" in general, but this is a bit scary to me.

I'm seeing the vet on Monday (the surgeon in the practice and the one I trust the most), so if you think of it, please say a prayer for him...Brenda, candles lit would be wonderful!!! I realize he's an 11 year old - old man who is apt to slow down, but this has me concerned...Oh, and to make matters suck even worse, I'm leaving on a business trip bright and early Tuesday morning... :(

Thanks folks!

Than you Susan...We've had it biopsied several times and it doesn't appear to be malignent, but I'm more afraid of removing it as he's older... Thanks for lighting that candle!  I'll let you all know the outcome...

Donna,

I'm sorry that Zeke has a large lipoma and that you have had to leave town too!   If it's helpful, our Nisse also had a large benign one near her shoulder when she was slightly older than he is, and we had it removed and all went well.    Will light a candle too.

Donna, my candle is lit tonight, and I have said special words over it for Zeke.   I feel that Zeke will be just fine, Donna.

But, I will carry him in my heart until we all know for sure.

Zeke's candle is on that infamous STOVE, along with the candle for ButterBean and Ryan's picture. etc.

Have a save trip.
