Ok, so a few years ago, before we had the girls and Kain I wanted to go to Mass, Boston specifically cause I read it was voted the #1 pet friendly city in the U.S., the Angel started having attitude issues so we decided not to make the trip. The next year, that summer the girls were so tiny, just being born and we didn't have a car big enough to fit everyone into. Now we do so I'd love to come! Problem is convincing Joe to make the trip. I need to research other man-type points of interest there or close by to make it a mini vacation. I think the Sam Adams Brewery is not too far if I remember correctly? I think still it is a 5 hr.+ drive- with 2 dogs and toddlers!!!! Yikes- I need a stopping point somewhere! I checked out the site that was posted. I am assuming that the lodging there is just for dogs? Where does everyone stay when there? What type of Pet friendly hotels are available? I'd really love to come.

LOL...yep, that car will be crazy...but crazy fun!! When we went last year we stayed at a Hampton Inn about 1/2 hr away and it was GREAT!!!! It was pet friendly - it was so fun to walk through the lobby with Jackie and it was very clean. I would have to poke around to find exactly what city it was in and how close it actually is to Boston. I am totally directionally challenged - Kathy "and Ted" got us there

Nicole, We would love to have you come! Yes, the Secret Garden is just for pets. Not sure what you are looking for as far as man-type things. Boston is roughly 25 miles north of East Bridgewater where the EPI gathering is being held. Michele stayed in Plymouth which is south of both Boston and the gathering site, probably 30 minutes to the EPI event. The Sox aren't in town that weekend but the Samuel Adams Brewery does give tours.

It is really a great time with great people and it is amazing how well the dogs get along. It is such a plus having Bob White, a talented trainer, there who can help with the pups if needed, give some guidance if you are unsure. It's a very large area so if you want to take your dog away from it all you can. Wonderful people, dogs and tons of food - what more can you ask for!
