OK - how crazy are we...here I am trying to do dog rescue work and I just agreed to foster a 3 year old shepherd with EPI and not yet stable.   He is coming over Sat to meet Jackie - so prayers are they get along!!   He is with a wonderful family - who is just totally overwhelmed by life and cannot care for him.   The poor guy is down to 55 lbs from 75 and I am praying he gets along with Jackie so we can help him out.    My husband is great - he is as big a sap as I am!!    I'll let you all know how Sat goes...YES...WE ARE CRAZY!!!!   :)

I have full faith that with the help of this forum we can ALL help him!!!

Michele,

I So hope that Jackie gets along with the new foster dog.  You are such a good person for doing this!  I don't think you are crazy for doing it at all!  You are such an awesome person!   He will be lucky to have you as a foster parent, possibly new mom?!  Good luck and hope all goes well on Saturday!

Michele, you are so wonderful to be doing this.  Two EPI dogs will surely keep you on your toes.  If all works out, it will be so rewarding for you & Mark, & having two dogs;   well, you will soon find out.  So lovely to have a best friend/brother/sister.   I can't stop smiling that you are doing this.

Cannot wait until tomorrow to hear from you (you must make time for us now.........).  We'll be waiting.

Careful not to get those angel wings caught on anything!  I think they just got bigger!  That's so great of you to foster another EPI pup, I hope him and Jackie become best buds!  You'll have to add yours to the fix-em-up-pup parade!

Proud mommy to Vito, 3(?) yr old GSD.  90lbs, goal weight 85-90lbs (ACHIEVED!).  Tested positive for EPI on March 30th, 2011.  His TLI was 1.0, Cobalamin 225, Folate 22.  Feeding 2 cups of Taste of the Wild Bison once a day with one teaspoon of Pancreatin 8x enzymes per meal.

Also proud mommy of a (non EPI) Belgian Malinois tripod named Lizzie.  That means three legs. :P  Who is completely spoiled rotten, loves kids, and will be going into therapy dog training as soon as I can afford it.

Thanks so much for all the well wishes guys - I know you are all right here with me pulling for Dexter!    Lynn...I have to laugh at your pic of the cat - that will be our Willie - running when he sees another dog here!!!   Right now he spends most of his time in Jackie's mouth...she loves him.  I hope he isn't too mad at me for bringing in another pup...
