Hey everyone!

I've not been around for awhile as my old laptop fried itself and i was trying to get it repaired but it was too badly damaged! I lost all my photos and everything! GUTTED! But here i am with a new laptop and two lots of good news :)

First of all i'm now 10 weeks pregnant with a strong and healthy pregnancy (FINALLY :D)   and second of all Charlie has had a play mate for awhile now - they have become that close that his playmate (a lovely cocker spaniel named Brandy) is coming to live with us in a few days!!! They have both become inseperable and when there together they are so much calmer than when there apart. I will upload photos when Brandy has settled in - although it wont take much doing as he knows our house and the family very well!

I hope everyone and there lovely paw pals are doing well! - its so nice been back on here!!!!!

Mandy:

Congratulations...the holidays will be extra busy and exciting for you and your family this year.  This is wonderful news and please keep us posted.  AND...you're adding also another 4 legged baby to the family as well.  That is so sweet that Charlie will now have his best friend there all the time, I'll bet he'll be thrilled.  Please post pictures of Brandy and Charlie.

What a bummer about your computer.  I'm so sorry that this happened and especially that you lost pictures.  I'm not as good at keeping things backed up as I should be.  Glad you're back with a new computer.  Your post has made me smile.

Family is family...you'll always be part of this group, that won't change.  I'm afraid you're stuck with us.

Again, congratulations.

Oh dear, fried?  Are you sure your harddrive's completely gone?  You might be able to pull it out and put it in a case, then it'll work like a portable harddrive.  Cases are pretty cheap, about 10-20 dollars.  It's usually pretty rare that a harddrive is completely gone.  I wish I could look at it for you!  :(

When they find a best friend!  How is Charlie's vision... i bet he gets along just fine now, eh? He seemed to have such a can-do attitude right from day one when you brought him home.;).

By the way, i love your new profile picture.. a combo of Daisy and Charlie together... what a nice tribute to a beautiful angel, Daisy.

Wow!!! I know alot of cocker spaniels look similar but Brandy and Sugar are the exact same dog!!!!

Charlie's vision was getting much better, he was actually running in a straight line instead of running sideways - he was able to play fetch and do everything, then he started going backwards - fetch was getting harder, he started tripping over me on walks and was walking into furniture again.

We took him to the vets - his lazy eye was still working as well as it could but they were wondering if he could be partially blind in that eye. He has a check up in a few weeks to see if it worsens or to see if his eye displays any problems. I'm kind of hoping its just a flare up and things will go back to normal! Either way blind or not hes happy enough - and even happier now he has someone whos as keen on tug of war as he is! :/

I'll keep everyone updated on the pregnancy :) i have my midwife appointment on Monday and then my 12 week scan on the 29th April!!!

You're going to have to add Brandy to your profile picture, right next to Charlie and your beloved Daisy.

Sugar was a cocker/lab mix.  I think she was a little bit bigger than your Brandy (about 40lbs), but they definitely look identical!  That pic was her at 15 years old, if you can believe that.  I'd had her since 3rd grade!
