Maybe you already know this, but I tried and it is amazing..... if you have a dog that has thunderstorm anxiety (my little peewee chi shakes until her tongue turns blue worse case I have ever seen) then try this. As the storm is approaching rub a dryer sheet (natural would be best so no chemicals ) all over her fur... the theory is that the dogs actually react to the static electricity in the air and this elimantes that...peewee would shake long before the first sound of thunder so she knew it was coming.... I would have never believed it would work so well..... I was sooooo amazed..... my doctor had her try drugs which I didn't work at all and I wont give... this is so simple .... give it a try... what a relief......... after hearing this I googled it and many rescues have it posted as well...... but little Peewee is living proof..... just thought maybe it will help someone else.. but of course my little 5 lb peewee only needs one dryer sheet.... your big GS may need a box... lol | |
