O and I made it safely to St Louis- her way earlier than I and YES I was very jealous as I was continuing to drive another 5 hours and she called to say she was already at the hotel and going to find places to eat-lol. Olesia is wonderful. We just had a great walk and talked like old friends. Grabbed a bite to eat and are now back in our hotel room both on seperate computers -lol I think its the first time we have stopped talking since I arrived.

Wish us luck tomorrow as it will be 97 and humid and we have to carry all this stuff to the convention center which is a short block away. We will get pictures up when we get it set up.

Olesia, owned by Izzy-45lb SWD, Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.3, Stable almost 7 yrs! Once stable, was able to reduce enzymes to only 1/2 tsp of Enzymes with each meal, but after almost 4 years of stabilization... had to increase the amount of enzymes to 3/4 teaspoon with each meal. Feed various grain-free kibble+real meat, 6x pancreatin enzymes from EnzymeDiane. I give 1 tsp of coconut oil one day and 1 tsp salmon oil next day, and also give canned sardines packed without salt or canned herring for extra omega oils.

Just an add on

Gillian was told that Tylan is a very underused drug by the vet hospital and I have had Kara on this now for a month and she is doing better I just put it in a piece of chicken and she wolfs it

And we are on Pancrex granules now so again over the last month changed one at a time

Just for you to pass on and to upsell Tylan from the UK

Hi Diane and Olesia!

Glad to hear you both made it safe and sound! I don’t envy you in the heat at all!!! Last week and most of this week have been nearly unbearable here with heat and humidity, but yesterday and today have been beautiful. Thankfully, you’ll both be in A/C most of the time. Take lots and lots of photos to share with us! I’ll be interested to hear how the veterinary community welcomes you. I’m with you in spirit!

Hi O and Diane,

So glad you made it safe and sound.  You sound like soul sisters already.   We sure are glad you are there representing our pups and getting the information out there.  You are the right two people to do this---generous and dedicated-- AND the kind of Intelligent the world needs, the kind with HEART.

I had the wonderful privilege of meeting Diane over the phone this week--she took time to call me  in the midst of packing for her trip to help me in my little dilemma about Kolby's enzymes.  Talk about generous!!

Thank you both for writing and keeping us all up to date.   Can't wait to  hear more and see pictures.   Keep coooool.

Hugs to both of you.

Barb
