Karen posted this a little while ago in the thread "Why is testing so expensive?" "To all of the great people on this site. I want you all to know the Charlie passed away this afternoon. he is in a better place, he is no longer hungry just wish we found this a little sooner. again Thank you for all the support. RIP Charlie.... Karen" Karen, you have my condolences. We know you were doing all you could for your sweet puppy. I loved the story he wrote to introduce himself and was so hoping he would get better. He is now at the Rainbow Bridge, content, no longer hungry, playing with all the other Bridge pups and will wait for you. Hopefully soon you will be able to look back with joy at the time you had with him and the sorrow will fade.....but I know your heart is broken now.

Finally, *8/11 had B12/Folate test taken ..(Vet delayed it) B12 is 216. Shots will start Monday. Not on shots anymore instead we use Wonderland B12 with intrinsic factor twice a day with each meal. Her B12 was tested and she is in a very safe range high. Gained weight, she now 53 lbs. Was on powder enzyems 1 tsp per 1 cup of food. Did well. I was allergic to powder and she started to not eat and bleed from the mounth and had other problems showing up. Switched to tablets (didn't work). Now on Creon Capsule 1capsule 24,000 units per 2 cups of food. Feeding 4 cups per day. Natural Blance Venison and Sweet Potato plus a little lean boiled chopmeat. Also started her and trying probiotics 1/18 of a teaspoon every other day. Seems to be working fine.

So sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose our furbabies, but you're right...Charlie isn't hungry and I'm sure he's running around with my Lucy. I lost Lucy to EPI at 15 months about 22 months ago. I found this site then and I'm sure it is what helped me get such a good response with Sofie. I knew what I was seeing this time. Big furry hugs coming your way. Tracey and Miss Sofie | |
