hi think i need to start with i am sorry....i got amazing help and advise from here but for me it didnt end well and i could not look,read or hear about epi for a very long long time including logging on here
some my remember boomer the rottweiler hes on the memorial wall,i swear even now that almost kill me to lose him 
anyhow lol i am here to say all newbies this is a great site,great info and great support
i have moved on ( but not forgotten)i now own two more fab rotts  one been to crufts gain 2nd in his class and another young female ready for crufts 2012
just wanted to share my thanks with you all

-- Dar and Kodi Kodi (GSD female , born August 19, 2010 , was diagnosed July 15, 2011 at 11 months .Lowest weight, 47 lbs, weight as of 2/ 20/ 2012 59.6 lbs. Our goal for her at this time is 60lbs. ... We made it !!! 60.4 lbs on March 31, 2012 . TLI .07 , Folate 9.4 , Cobalmin 536 .Kodi eats TOTW Sierra Mountain (Lamb and sweet potato, grain free), 2 cups,2 times a day with 1 teaspoon of pancreatin 8x per cup., recently added small lunch(1 cup plus 1 teas. enzymes) enzymes ( From Diane...awesome lady!!!) , with warm water and letting it sit for 30 minutes . She is our furry kid whom just loves playing with the grandkids !!!!

Hi I lost my last GSD to DM 4 years ago and know how you feel couldnt look at her picture or mention her name there is even a dog on the forum that looks like her but i wish that there had been a place like this then so thanks Olesia.

-- Maddie orginal Diagnosed 12/04/11 her TLi was 1 Folate14.2 DOB 01/10/2007 B12 140/165/235 now 644 was on jabs until 28/01/2012 now on B12 intrinsic factor tablets daily with food. Weight was 22.3 Currently 27.1 (13-09-2011)28.8(27-10-11)31.7(02-12-11)32.5(27-01-2012) up 10kgs and Down to 31.7 (not feeding the correct amount 28-02-2012) need to get back to 32.5 this was her weight before DX.Hooray.............33.2 (04-05-12) Feeding grain free- Burns/Fish4dogs/Simpsons/Changed foods more digestible now on 400 grams per feed Panzxym 1.5 ml teaspoon per feed(used to use 2 lypex per feed) She had SIBO but this has not flared up since last august she was on Oxytet this didnt work so put on:stomorgyl- Treated with Synbotic capsules as well (pre-probotics )

Don't be sorry... I know too well how you feel. It is very hard to come back to the forum after losing your heart. Razzy broke my heart more than any of my loves except maybe my first angel Puppy Dog. But in a strange way it brings comfort to be here with friends. Go with the flow.... it will get easier. I am so glad you have new loves... I have one too called Cassie. She will never be Razzy but she is a handful of mischief that keeps me busy and makes me smile. Val | |

Ahhhh Kelly... it is so nice to hear from you.... but please don't ever feel you have to apologize .... saying goodbye is so so hard...and we all deal with our sadness the best way for us. Boomer will always be remembered here with many other EPI companions....... but I am glad to hear that you have opened your heart to more pups.....and i am sure Boomer, whereever his essence is, is also pleased you are giving love and a home to others. Please feel free to post pictures of the new family members here... we would love to see! | |

-- Olesia, owned by Izzy-45lb SWD, Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.3, Stable almost 7 yrs! Once stable, was able to reduce enzymes to only 1/2 tsp of Enzymes with each meal, but after almost 4 years of stabilization... had to increase the amount of enzymes to 3/4 teaspoon with each meal. Feed various grain-free kibble+real meat, 6x pancreatin enzymes from EnzymeDiane. I give 1 tsp of coconut oil one day and 1 tsp salmon oil next day, and also give canned sardines packed without salt or canned herring for extra omega oils.

Hi Kelly, So nice of you to pop in here. I remember your beautiful Boomer very well. Pleased that you have now got two new babies to share in your lives.
