Hello All! I'm curious to know what enzyme supplement you use, and if you have found a cost effective option? We are paying about $80 for a 4 oz PancrePlus powder. I checked at Walgreens into their human grade powder, but was informed that we would be paying double for it. I've seen at Mothers Market (organic grocery store) they have some supplements, but the dosages are different and/or they don't contain all of what is in the PancrePlus. Would love some feedback, thanks!

I use enzymes from enzymediane. I pay $52.99 for the 250 grams(8.8oz) Pancreatin PLUS 6x US. Its been great and works amazing with jewels. I started with the viokase tablets 60 for around $70 and those didnt work. The I went to raw pork pancreas 13lbs for $165. But the raw pancreas was too unstable for Jewels as she has severe SIBO. She gained her weight back quickly but her stools were very soft all the time and she was having quite a few off days :(. So we tried the enzymes by diane and voila! It works, very cost effective, shipping didnt take long for me(about a week). Check it out enzymediane.com

Once stable, was able to reduce enzymes to only 1/2 tsp of Enzymes with each meal, but after almost 4 years of stabilization... had to increase the amount of enzymes to 3/4 teaspoon with each meal. Feed various grain-free kibble+real meat, 6x pancreatin enzymes from EnzymeDiane. I give 1 tsp of coconut oil one day and 1 tsp salmon oil next day, and also give canned sardines packed without salt or canned herring for extra omega oils.

Wow, I just looked through her site, and what a difference in cost! The PancrePlus Chloe is on has some added vitamins - A, D, and E - I wonder if that will make a difference? I noticed that Enzyme Diane's has a bit of vitamins, but not the same amount. Also, do you recommend weaning them off of one and onto the other, or is it okay to just switch? I know, $80... and that only lasts one month.

the added vitamins in the enzymes is no big deal... or to put it another way... not a deal breaker when it comes to saving $$$ on the enzyme cost ;). I used to use Pancrezyme and switched cold turkey, 100%, all at once, no weening required when changing enzymes....

Hi, I also get enzymes from Diane, and I have for 5 years now. She is totally reliable and honest and efficient. I switched to her enzymes cold turkey too, and have used them ever since.. It will save you lots of money. Just the cost savings has saved many dog's lives.

I also used Enzyme Diane. I also spoke to her for an hour on the phone. That really helped me to be comfortable in the managment of Juno's disease. I use the 8X and it was $83.00 for 1/2 a kilo (about 1.1 pounds). Good luck! Carol
