I've just started Ruby ( my 12mth old GSD girl ) on Creon 10000, 1 cap per meal. How long would it take to regard it as a successful transition ? Shes been on it 6 days and continues to have good poops. Would things have turned to custard (no pun intended !!! )after a couple of days if she needed a higher dose ? I have changed from a strong Panzytrat 25000 ( which is probably similar to Creon 25's ). And am feeding Orijen.

P/s for anyone in New Zealand with an EPI friend....its cheaper to buy Creon 10000 over the internet from Australia than to buy it over the counter here in NZ, and thats including postage ! - and theres no Customs hassels as its a 'general sale item'.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike

I have never used creon or Panztrat.... but if the poops are good I'd say you got the dose right.

The poops are the first thing to show how the digestion is going.... well done with the change over.

After 6 days and good poops I would leave it alone. If they do go downhill then you might need to tweak but as long as the poop is good I wouldn't change a thing. Congratulations on a smooth transition.

Mike, my EPI English Setter weighed 26kgs. She only ever needed one Creon 10000. I would say if all is going well after 6 days, then you are doing great. Congratulations.
