Anyone ever had a bad reaction to any TOTW foods at all?? I am switching Zoe over to it but I heard they closed production at one of their plants due to some quality concerns. I really like how Zoe is doing on this food I hope I can stay on it. I almost lost one of my dogs back in 2007 I will not feed my dogs this food if it is going to make them sick.

Zoe my Australian Terrier was diagnosed at seventeen months old. She eats half a cup of Earthborn Holistics Great Plains Feast twice a day with a quarter teaspoon plus 1/8 th tsp of Dianne enzymes 8x.Also 1/8th teaspoon of tylan each meal when she has a run in with SIBO. She just started B12 shots on 8/22/2012 weekly. She is now five years old.

I feed the Pacific Stream formula with good success. It is a single protein (fish) formula that has less chance of upsetting their system.

Alan & Brandy

Brandy, whelped 5/16/10. Purebred GSD (DDR) Sable Female (Spayed). Diagnosed EPI March 2012 at <50lbs.

Went thru the SIBO routine and got it cleared up with a Tylan (Tylosin) 40 day regime.

Feeding: Earthborn Holistic Grain Free Primitave Natural or Coastal Catch, 3x day - 1.5cup each. EnzymeDiane's 6x - 1/2 tsp each feeding. TRINFAC-B Intrinsic Factor - 1 cap daily. Occasionally, as a topper, I add a couple spoons of Solid Gold Canned Green Tripe or Sardines in water or Tunafish. She loves it!

As of July 2012 she is doing GREAT and over 60lbs.

**Started feeding without incubation on Jul 17th with no problems.**

**Reduced feeding to twice daily on Aug 14th (as she was near her optimal weight).**

** Sep 4th, weighed in at 73 pounds (optimal weight for her size) & accepted into the coveted Chunky Monkey Club!**

**Oct 24th, weight now 80 pounds (on a diet) LOL**

Thanks to Olesia for this wonderful Site and the folks that participate in it. You ALL saved my Brandy. Also a BIG THANKS to Diane & Sarge (RIP).

Hi,

It appears to be the Diamond Lamb and Rice. Here are a couple of sites to check for yourself. I feed TOTW  Lamb or Bison and Kodi does great on it !!   :)

The plant did not close and as Dar said the issue was with the Daimond food not TOTW. Ted eats a variety of kibble but right now he is eating TOTW Wetlands and he has always done well on it.

HI,

I do understand Connie's concern, as the TOTW food is manufactured at the Diamond plant that has the food recall. TOTW is made by Diamond. As far as I know though, the Diamond food specially mentioned (lamb and rice) is the only one that had been recalled. I have been following this story, as some of the Natural Balance foods (which we use) are also manufactured at Diamond's food plants.

thanks everyone for not only posting but also for contributing to this story... we need to be as aware as possible to any issues with the foods we feed our dogs. Please feel free to post updates to this story.

Olesia, owned by Izzy-45lb SWD, Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.3, Stable almost 7 yrs! Once stable, was able to reduce enzymes to only 1/2 tsp of Enzymes with each meal, but after almost 4 years of stabilization... had to increase the amount of enzymes to 3/4 teaspoon with each meal. Feed various grain-free kibble+real meat, 6x pancreatin enzymes from EnzymeDiane. I give 1 tsp of coconut oil one day and 1 tsp salmon oil next day, and also give canned sardines packed without salt or canned herring for extra omega oils.

Thanks for the info.  We have used TOTW and Nature's Domain (Costco) in the past with good success and both are manufactured by Diamond.

I was on TOTW Facebook page and they reassured me that TOTW was very safe to feed our dogs. I hope so because Zoe has been on it since sunday and is doing great. And I like the price too.
