Thanks for the info, Sharon. I hadn't seen NB in this recall yet. Natural Balance canned is not involved...at least not yet?

Tylan currently 1x/day. Also takes 1/2 tablet pepcid for stomach upset 2x/day. Primal Defense probiotics 1/8 tsp, 3x/week. Getting bi-weekly B-12 shots. Thanks for all your info on the recall. I feed by dogs Natural Balance Venision and Sweet Potato...on the recall list. However, checked their bag of food SAFE....hopefully they don't come up with more. I will check any other bag of food I by next time. Keep up the good work we all need to be aware.

-- Ruby doo bee lol was diagnosed with EPI in June 2011. Lost 20 lbs before told about the TLI from the vet. Was diagnosed with EPI test result was 2.0. No other tests given. Gained back 6 lbs. Finally, *8/11 had B12/Folate test taken ..(Vet delayed it) B12 is 216. Shots will start Monday. Not on shots anymore instead we use Wonderland B12 with intrinsic factor twice a day with each meal. Her B12 was tested and she is in a very safe range high. Gained weight, she now 53 lbs. Was on powder enzyems 1 tsp per 1 cup of food. Did well. I was allergic to powder and she started to not eat and bleed from the mounth and had other problems showing up. Switched to tablets (didn't work). Now on Creon Capsule 1capsule 24,000 units per 2 cups of food. Feeding 4 cups per day. Natural Blance Venison and Sweet Potato plus a little lean boiled chopmeat. Also started her and trying probiotics 1/18 of a teaspoon every other day. Seems to be working fine.

Good Lord, is there nothing safe to feed our dogs???? What a nightmare again with all these recalls. Star's NB flavor doesn't seem to be on this list, however we might just have to start a new food hunt again. UGH!
My BIG problem with this is supposidly Natural Balance tests all their bags and you can look up your bag of food online and see the test results. I bet if you looked up these foods they would come up "negative' for everything.....how can you trust it to be true, since now they are recalling. I am truly fed up.

I know the feeling. Just posted the Diamond recall a few minutes ago and it included Taste of the Wild. I guess I am on the hunt and was looking at Natural Balance and then I see this! What a MESS! We have it bad enough with EPI and now this!

Please see new subject "Recall (Sorry for new subject" I just posted a link from "food safty news" with a COMPLETE list of foods and remember the dates are X THROUGH X NOT X AND X Yes ALL food made in the SC Plant being recalled!! I have not seen or heard anything on Canned YET On a personal note...... We have been having so much trouble with Hans not eating, and it started in December!!! The RECALL goes back to DECEMBER!! I'm really wondering if this has been the problem!!!!!! OMG I could scream!!!!! Another note: In the last 3 to 4 months I heard/read recalls on Hampster food, fish food and parriot/bird food..........MY GOD YOU CAN'T EVEN HAVE A PET ANY MORE. THIS IT JUST TOTALLY CRAZY.........MY GOD I HATE THE WORLD IN THES DAY IN AGE!!! I'm sorry for screaming but I had to get that out of my system. I'm so frustrated with the world!!!!!!!!!!!! I also hate VETS at this time. We had 2 horses a year ago. One was having back issues and we had to put here down. The vet NEVER thought to check for Lyme Disesase!!!!! The second horse started having issues I had to say to check for Lyme. She came up positive!!!! Why in the HECK didn't the vet think of this!!!! Why did we have to lose a horse because of the dam vet!!!!!!!!! Sorry about that!!! Yet another thing nagging at me...

It was not being manufatured durning those dates or it was not being made in that area of the plant. "I'm told" They also said "All of their food was tested before it was shipped and it all tested negitive, but they are recalling as a precaustion" Sharon and Hans I appoligise for my early rant ..... Having STRESS issues LOL Sharon
