Annie was a Shepherd mix who had been with me for almost 20 years.  She was diagnosed w/ EPI in November, 2011.  She also was treated for SIBO.  Initially, she seemed to recover well.  She gained around 15 pounds, had a beautiful coat, and no longer seemed anxious.  But then, she suffered a series of strokes, lost her vision and balance and did not make it.  I lost my sweet friend on May 18th.

I would like to donate her enzymes to anyone with need.  I purchased 500 grams of Pancratin 8x on April 18, 2012 from EnzymeDiane's website.  If anyone is interested, please let me know,  and I will ship USPS.

Although this is my first post, this forum was a great help and comfort to me. This is a wonderful community for people like me who were struggling and overwhelmed.

So sorry, love.

They never stay long enough and losing them is always heart breaking.

Run free sweet Annie and become again that young and lovely girl your mum will remember when the sadness starts to fade.

I'm sorry for your loss, it is terible too lose a friend it hurts.

But what an age, I don't know any dogs that get this age. You are blessed too have her so long, but you always want to have them longer. Any time is wrong to lose them.

I always say the pain will be slowely less, but the loss continues and gets a place.

I am so sorry for your loss.  20 years what a blessing.  She is now in heaven.

May all loving memories flood your soul.

Ruby doo bee lol  was diagnosed with EPI in June 2011. Lost 20 lbs  before told about the TLI from the vet.  Was diagnosed with  EPI test result was 2.0. No other tests given.  Gained back 6 lbs.   Finally, *8/11 had B12/Folate test taken ..(Vet delayed it) B12 is 216. Shots will start Monday. Not on shots anymore instead we use Wonderland B12 with intrinsic factor twice a day with each meal. Her B12 was tested and she is in a very safe range high.  Gained weight, she now 53 lbs.

Was on powder enzyems 1 tsp per 1 cup of food. Did well. I was allergic to powder and she started to not eat and bleed from the mounth and had other problems showing up.  Switched to tablets (didn't work).  Now on Creon Capsule 1capsule 24,000 units per 2 cups of food. Feeding 4 cups per day.  Natural Blance Venison and Sweet Potato plus a little lean boiled chopmeat.

Also started her and trying probiotics 1/18 of a teaspoon every other day. Seems to be working fine.

**Started feeding without incubation on Jul 17th with no problems.**

**Oct 24th, weight now 80 pounds (on a diet) LOL**

Thanks to Olesia for this wonderful Site and the folks that participate in it. You ALL saved my Brandy. Also a BIG THANKS to Diane & Sarge (RIP).

Thank you all for your kind words and prayers.  We did have a good run together, Annie and I.  She actually adopted me.  I was living in the country on a farm - lots of cows and horses along with 5 dogs and a cat.  I was down to one puppy from a litter of Pyrenees and the last thing I wanted or needed was another dog.  Annie took a shine to that last puppy and they were inseparable.  I tried everything, loud noises, shooing her with a broom, locked her outside the  fence, and finally, squirting water with the hose.  She just sat outside the gate and cried until I let her in.  She climbed up on the porch and promptly took a nap.  She stayed with me for another 19 years.  She was obedient, had a sweet temperment, and just a great companion.  I will miss her terribly, but I'm happy that she's gone on to her next great adventure.

Hugs to all.
