Hello Shari!
In response to your question about Loki, We are only feeding him dry kibble "Taste of the Wild" salmon flavor. We have been giving him 6 cups a day. I think it was feeding him that extra amount that made the difference in his weight gain. :)

OMG. My Roxy girl (lab/collie mix) that I got from the shelter was named Mia by the shelter - that is hilarious!!!! I just saw your post about SIBO - it does sound like it's starting up again - when you have time if you haven't already go the tab "concurrent conditions" and read Sabre's Journal then google SIBO (I'll see if I can find the article I read the other day - while it's for humans it applies to animals and mirrors some of what Olesia put on her Fiber page) - and when I contacted Nature's Logic dog food to inquire about their food the guy right off the bat said you need a diet that's low in natural sugars and certain starches) - I found it all very interesting and may be a way to avoid SIBO without antibiotics

Shari - I think we were destined to be friends - what is the black dog in your photos? I too have another dog, Roxy - female lab/collie best we can guess and she has white hair on her chest that looks like a cross. I read your signature on your most recent post - your dog and Doc must be brothers - Doc was diagnosed at almost 14mos - prior his highest weight was 95 - his lowest was - funny can't remember now. I noticed you were starting the shots again - have you thought about supplementing with the Trinfac-B12 capsules? Thanks for the comment on Doc's coat - he actually got a bath this weekend - first one in 7 months - I'm bad but I couldn't afford it - so i bought a kiddie pool and did it outside - he was great - his coat actually looks like a wet seal now. I LOVE your Bo's head tilt - he actually looks like he's smiling - such a sweet face!!
