About Me

Proud mom of 3 fur babies. The youngest of these kids is a rescued boarder collie/queensland mix we have had for almost 4 years.  A prefect Angel up until a year ago when a food switch triggered chronic loose stool , stool eating, gas, greasy stool, and weight loss. After a year of multiple vet visits/ switching vets, multiple rounds of meds and proboitics, 8 different food tryies including persciption and home made and more weight lose. Jan 22, 2018 we finally recieved a confirmed EPI diagnoses. TLI <1.2. This poor baby weighted in at 29.4 lbs the day we finally figured it all out.

But with the help I have found here and my vet he he is quickly recovering. We ordered up: vedco-pancreved powder, B-12 inj., multi- vitamin, and probiotic powder.  Started on Jan 26th. Then I discovered EnzymeDiane and switched the pancreatin 6x. He eats 4 times a day. His Poo...no one wants to eat it anymore, color is a dark tan and solid. I have never been so excited to scoop poop! on the poop chart he started at a 3 and as soon as the enzymes were added to his food the moved to a 6.

Feb. 7 my boy weighted in at 35 lbs. he is starting to look healthy again. His energy leaves are up and he has his happy dog smile back. So happy to be on this road to recovery.

In the last few days I have noticed....In the morning after we all get up and about( 630 am) that Brodies stomach is growling and rumbling and really noise. But this stops after his am meal at 8 am. Today it was so loud that I feed him earlier. I have been feeding him 4 x a day. At 8, 12, 4, and 8. He gets 8 oz dry kibble, 4 oz mashes/boiled chicken and sweet potatoes, 4 oz of water mixed with 1.2 tsp enzyme powder per meal.
My questions are.... Is the rumble tummy noises normal? Should I be feeding him more? Or should I feed his as soon as he gets up ?
