Hi Peri,
I hope everyone is well, hondo too. I wanted to let you know that I received your package. Thank you! My concern was the cost of the meds and not being used. I just wished they could have helped Dutch.
Hi Peri,
On Tuesday, July 6th, you should be receiving a small box in the mail. Inside you will find a bottle with 20 Creon 25 capsules in it. We use the capsules for camping and days where my wife or I are not home to make Ayasha's dinner and can't wait the 20 minutes. I've done some testing with Creon and you can read the outcome on the forum just type "Creon 25" in the search box on the epi4dogs forum page. I have had the best luck with opening the capsule and sprinkling the content on 2 teaspoons of un-sweetened applesauce and using a toothpick to mix it on a small dish and Ayasha just laps it up. We have used baby food. Gerber has their 2nd foods. For about $1.15 you get 2 each 3.5 oz plastic containers should last for 2 or 3 meals. you can get squash, sweet potatoes, beans and etc. The main thing is they need to lap the mixture just before the meal. Just make sure they don't chew the little beads in the capsules. The main reason for the opening of the capsule is; as soon as the cap gets damp, it sticks in the throat and then they want to chew it to swallow, which is a no-no. Hope you have luck in the getting Dutch to eat with the Creon. Keep me informed on how the Creon 25 works for you. Frank |
