About Me

I live in Canberra, Australia with my husband, 3 teenage daughters, 1 cat (who's not happy with the introduction of the dogs) and my 2 gorgeous Shepherds, Boof and Bella. We picked them up in May 2008 expecting to come home with 1 dog, but we couldn't decide between them so we got them both. Life is so much better with them.

Hi Ange, I am from Australia as well and it is difficult because of the lack of knowledge from my vets as well as the lack of products but what has worked for my Sophie is...
3 1/2 cups Royal Canin digestive low fat kibble for brekkie and dinner
http://www.vetproductsdirect.com.au/itemdesc.asp?ic=RCVDLF14
1 1/2 enzyplex powder per meal and creon 10,000 -1 cap per meal
cod liver oil 2 ml 1 per day
1 cup of cooked beef mince with brekkie and dinner
she is also getting 1 vitamin b12 injection per week for 4 weeks.

all of the above has worked for Sophie as far as getting her poops solid and normal but she has only gained about 500 grams since i have had her on this diet (about 2 weeks)

i hope this helps. let me know if there is anything else i can do to help
