My Dogs name is 'Ben Seven' and he is a three and a half years old Blue GSD, normal weight was 41 Kilos he dropped down to 31 kilos and was diagnosed with EPI on the 2nd of February he is now on enzymes ( and B12 injections for the next few months). He has started to put a weight on.Over the last three months has gained 8 kilos he is now 2 kilos short of his full weight. update 21/04/2012 I would like to thank this site and it's Forum for the information I have picked up from its readers replies. I drew a lot of comfort and guidance from the information it contains. Thanks again John Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text. Please try again. 4 Comments
thank you, John - the tests show that HE does NOT have EPI, but he continues to lose weight and hasn't wanted to eat for 2 days. I still wonder if he does indeed have EPI, but the vet says "tests are normal". I am going to try raw food diet as he seems to love raw chicken, so at this point, I will try anything. I am keeping positive - particularly with thoughtful folks like you...thank you. Vicki & Kantor
Wow, what a beautiful dog. I have never seen a blue GSD before.
Hi All. As you can see from the About Me section I am new to EPI and as you can suspect with exploreing the net I am on overload with information. I have read somewhere that you should wear a mask when dealing with enzyme powders. Is this correct ?
