About Me

I have worked for the last 25 yrs. with dogs either traong them or in a Vet hospital. recently hung up my dog training hat to take a part time low stress job to better deal with the other stresses in my life. The biggest stresses are also the biggest joys; family that includes a 8 yr old boy, a mother whith several health concerns, a husband with Cluster headaches, a BT with EPI, diabetes and Megaesophagus, and a very healthy Labby.

I have a Ruby (Chihuahua/ Min. Pin. Pound Puppy) with EPI and I had a Bouvier Des Flandres with Megaesophagus... Nadia who lived to be 12 years and past of Cancer. We had several bouts of me having to put my hand down her throat to pull something out that she was choking on. So I know what your challenges are with her. I got Ruby as a Foster Pup, but will be keeping her, she is a wonderful dog. She was 4.4 lbs when found . When I picked her up from Animal Services her weight was 5 lbs. after 2 weeks she is 8 lbs. and full of life. Good luck with your Ruby.

ruby'stara. Thank you for your comments he is a hansom dog and he knows it. Since January he has put on 6 kilos with the help of the enzymes his levels of energy have picked up and it is nice to see him bounce around like a puppy once again. I found by accident that although he cannot have dod treats that in England we has biscuits called Arrowroot Biscuits and in small doses/treats they do not seem to effect Ben7's digestion.
