EPI * Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency

Mama to my beautiful Yuma...my beloved American Alsatian. DOB 10/2010 Diagnosed EPI 5/25/12 after losing 13 pounds rapidly and being misdiagnosed with worms/parasite. She had her first doses of enzymes, metronidazole, and vitB12 injection after a weigh in of 56 pounds ;0( ♥ Our goal weight is 75 pounds. Her initial testing - TLI 1.3 B12 86 folate 37. She was also diagnosed with a SIBO and the antibiotics do not seem to be working. Poops are still cow plops and light in color. We will be back at the vet on Friday 6/1/12 for a recheck and another B12 shot. She is staying right next to me most of the time. Definitely more calm. Ugh...I can't believe she was hurting so bad and remained such a perfect dog :0(
