About Me
In June, I adopted a Military War Dog from Lackland AFB. He does NOT want to eat and now that he is on appetite stimulants, he will eat but it goes thru him, appearing to be completely undigested. I was advised to go to this site as EPI is one of the differentials. It has been extremely helpful to review this site - there is a wealth of information. Testing is scheduled for Monday, but as I understand, even then, it will be touch and go in terms of regulating his diet so that he will absorb his food. Very worried!!! Hi Vicki I know how you feel I went through all sorts of traumas watching Ben go down hill and not being able to help him and not understanding EPI, it takes a lot of patience and love but for Ben it paid off and in 8 months he is back to his normal weight and full of energy and fun. It is not a nice illness but with a little luck and a lot of love and guidance from the members and tec sheets from this web site it could guide you through. We have just got back from France and have not got upto date yet. Please let me know how you get on with the tests Stay positive lots of love to you both John & Ben
