Pixie's first agility trial! Add Video

Pixie went to her first agility trial today. Keep in mind, she's only been training in agility since January this year, and we missed quite a few weeks for different reasons, so while she follows me nicely, we haven't worked on handling moves like changing sides. It also doesn't help that I momentarily forgot the course at one point! And, I have a bad knee, so I'm having trouble moving well. But, even with all those drawbacks, just look at how happy Pixie looks!! She looks like she is having so much fun, so I just had to share this you. This run is called "Hoopers." Since we just started, I didn't enter her in anything else today, and she doesn't know all the equipment yet. Tomorrow she's going to do a jumpers run. That'll be interesting! Thanks for looking!

All that matters is you both had fun and were together! :-)

Thanks, Kelli! If you figure out a treat or some other reward (some people I know use toys), I'm sure Addie will go through more than one!

You both did fantastic! I did agility with a previous dog and I was NOT the best handler! You two look great and Pixie is full of herself, she's having a ball and that all that counts.
