In 2007, AKC-CH awarded a grant to Dr. Leigh Anne Clark for EPI research. This research was conducted at Texas A&M University Canine Genetics Lab http://www.cvm.tamu.edu/cgr/currentprojects.htm/  to identify the genetic marker(s) for this insidious disease. HOWEVER....Dr. Leigh Anne Clark is now continuing this research at Clemson University.  Dr. Clark is currently working on setting up her Clemson University research website- - it will be announced here when it is available.
