Hmm, sounds like an inflammed pancreas or stomach issue. Hope she gets better.

Re: New to EPI. Mixture question

I don't think it matters as long as you get the lumps out of the enzymes in water. It is quite easy to sprinkle the enzyme on the food, add room temp water, stir and incubate. Stir again before serving.

Re: Poop Smells like Mustard?

Please try bumping the enzymes to 1 level teaspoon per 1 cup food. I would think with the 3/4 c kibble plus 1 T wet food would be about right for 1 t enzyme.
Are you feeding a grain free kibble? The fiber needs to be 4% dry weight or less.
Thanks

Re: Won't Eat

when is your dog vomiting?
What is he bringing up?
Maybe run it by your vet to try regular Pepcid for the acid reflux if the slippery elm doesn't work.

Re: Question about food

Hi Dani. Those treats are good. Just remember any treats need to be treated with enzymes. Tuna with a little liquid, cheese of any kind, a little bit of canned food or baby food.
Keep up the good work!

Re: Low TLI- worried

Hi Maia, Once your dog has been diagnosed with Epi using the Tli test the Tli number will not increase. There is no need to retest. The dose for your enzymes depends on how much food you feed. 1 level teaspoon enzyme per 1 cup kibble. Dogs with Epi live a long life and usually pass from other condit...

Re: Won't Eat

If the food is a kibble the correct amount is 1 level teaspoon enzyme to 1 cup kibble. It is given by amount of food. The diet that would be recommended for Epi would be grain free 4% fiber or less.
