Ok just keep it in the back of your mind if the poop stays bad you might need a grain free, without peas or lentils. Good luck

Re: Weight loss
Hi Sherri, what food are you feeding?most dogs do better on a grain free diet as the grain can interfere with how the enzymes work. Are you incubating the enzymes with the food before serving? The start point is 1 level teaspoon enzyme per 1 cup kibble. Is there any way to feed a meal right after wo...

Ruhroh Lucy!
Next time that happens you can feed some enzymes in food after the fact and it might ease the tummy.

Re: Husdon GSD and new EPI diagnosis
Welcome to the site and good for ypu for reading and being proactive. Yes I would recommend doing the B12 shots or daily supplementation of oral capsules. Re: Help !
Have you tried him on a diet without grains? Grains can interfere with the efficacy of the enzymes to do their job. Also has the poop ever been normal since Epi?
I was going to say as the pets age they sometimes need a tad increase in enzymes.

Re: New EPI diagnosis
Another option you could try is going back to what worked(enzymes and current diet) and anning an Acid reducer like Pepcid regular(famotadine) or Zantac (ranitidine). You tried Tylan for the Antibiotic?

Re: New EPI diagnosis
Good morning. You certainly could try Creon and yes it is a prescription. What you could try is adding in some plant enzymes to see if that helps firm the stool Prozyme is an example. Are you addressing the B12, grain free diet and have used or are using an Antibiotic along with the enzymes or pancr...
