Re: Sudden increase in grass eating
Hi Carolyn, a couple things to mention for you to try if things don't come back. The RC GI contains grains which most Epi animals can't have. You could switch to a grain free kibble with 4% fiber or less. Please make sure peas, lentils, pea flour and legumes are not there or if they are at the lowes...

Re: New to EPI
Hi Debbie,
Have you settled on raw pancreas or powdered enzyme? Usually it is best for your dog to be stable before adding something new. Being stable by having good poops, no tummy rumblings, etc..
I don't really know about feeding tripe so will let someone else chime in.

Re: Panzym - stopped working
Good morning Gilly, thanks for clarifying the head. I was wondering if she was head pressing, but it sounds like she is listening. We "know" that our Mickey JRT who passed in 2014 visits periodically as both dogs(before Kiya just passed) will stop and watch as he roams the house. Their tails wag hap...

Re: Panzym - stopped working
I am good with that! Being happy is what it is all about. I would ask to have Betty's test results sent to you by .pdf. This might help. I would say you need a longer course of antibiotics which I think Jean, Patsy and Olesia have said which one to ask for the SID/SIBO. Just a question, when Betty i...

Re: Panzym - stopped working
Hi Gilly, has she ever been checked for neurology issues? Some behavior you describe bring to mind possible neurological, but I am not a vet and don't mean to be alarming. Just giving possibilities. Does she display any pain in the gut after eating like stretching, hunching the back, front feet down...

Re: Potential EPI Corgi pup?
Hi. Please don't apologize for sending pictures! They are best. We have issues with spam links to things not pertaining to Epi so glad you posted pictures. You have been given good advice in previous posts so I will also say the best way to treat is by having YTli and cobalamin tested to confirm or ...

Hi Betty, sorry I should have converted the cups and teaspoons to metric.
You are in good hands with Jean and the UK members.

I see your dog is not Epi. Is he/she having issues?
Ask away.

Re: Panzym - stopped working
Good morning Gilly and welcome. Good job on getting your pup on the right track. There are 4 cornerstones of Epi that need to be addressed when diagnosed. Enzymes- the amount of enzymes is per cup of food, not per meal. We usually start with 1 level teaspoon per 1 cup kibble. Sprinkle enzyme over ki...
