Re: New Here - Maverick's Journey

Hey Jess, the only PPP complete essentials I can find are turkey and rice and chicken and rice on Chewy. Will you email me the can cover and nutrient content? I am glad the food is working. Just per chance are you figuring the % fiber on a dry weight matter? I just don't want to miss the SID culprit...

Re: New Here - Maverick's Journey

So 5 cups wet food per day would be about 4.5 teaspoons enzyme per day A lot of vets with no knowledge of enzymes will say a dose per da...

Re: New Here - Maverick's Journey

Wow Jess! Welcome to you, your hubby and Maverick. Great job on applying some things to get Maverick back on course, the enzymes. The recommended dose is 1 level teaspoon per 1 cup kibble, incubated with a little room temp water 15 to 20 mins. Enzymes needed with all food and snacks. B12- good job o...

Re: New EPI diagnosis

Good morning! Nice to hear things are going well.
Is Cali on a probiotic? Maybe the slippery elm and a probiotic will help. It sounds maybe like SID? If you have any Tylan you might consider a course.
Are you supplementing B12?

Re: New to the Community

Good question on the B12. Here is the link to research on oral B12 supplementation: https://epi4dogs.com/b12-researchpublications/ You have a great start with the shots. There are symptoms of low B12 you watch for just like you do for SID, or needing to tweak enzyme dose. But any excess B12 will be ...
