Montgomery is on a home-cooked diet, too, and boy, has that made a difference. I like having the ability to tailor it to his needs. I use a completer by Alnutrin. They make these things for dogs, too, for raw or cooked diets.

Adored Beast makes a product called gut soothe, which I use with Mary Isobel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien. It really seems to help, although her vomiting issues are still a mystery and she's been here since December.

It took awhile to put weight on Montgomery, and believe me, when you're looking at your pet every day, you almost don't see the weight gain beginning. Most veterinarians are happy to let clients use their scales.
