Re: Feeding Raw Pancreas
Montgomery is on a home-cooked diet, too, and boy, has that made a difference. I like having the ability to tailor it to his needs. I use a completer by Alnutrin. They make these things for dogs, too, for raw or cooked diets.

Re: EPI Dog with intermittent swollen lip
Does he have blackheads or a greasy chin? Sometimes acne can cause swelling.

Re: Feeding Raw Pancreas
A few years ago, our veterinarian suggested that I might look into raw pancreas for Montgomery. I spoke to a local butcher, and he said that the only way to get hold of that would be to go to the slaughterhouse and see. I couldn't fathom doing that; I'd come home with a colony of liberated pigs. We ...

Re: Vomiting
Adored Beast makes a product called gut soothe, which I use with Mary Isobel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien. It really seems to help, although her vomiting issues are still a mystery and she's been here since December.

Re: HELP!!!! new memeber
It took awhile to put weight on Montgomery, and believe me, when you're looking at your pet every day, you almost don't see the weight gain beginning. Most veterinarians are happy to let clients use their scales.

Re: Housebroken???
Thank you! He never really got to be a kitten, so now he's being a kitten, running, climbing, playing like crazy. The only thing I don't like is that he thinks it's funny to flying tackle Flapjack and knock him over. Falpie, epileptic and on a lot of medication, never sees it coming and always winds...

Re: Housebroken???
I wish I'd had the digital camera when Montgomery was small, but I still had my old Cannon and rolls of film. For awhile, I was so afraid to take pictures of him, too, because it can jinx a sick kitten. Now I wish I'd documented him better. He's a new man now. You wouldn't believe it. I wish I could...

Re: Housebroken???
He he doesn't collect gas in his small intestine anymore, which used to cause him to strain to pass it, and then he'd urinate. He also goes to the bathroom like a normal cat now, with no difficulty passing stool. His brain and his digestive system finally seem to be on speaking terms. He wakes up BE...
