I'll make sure to dig the camera out. He never minds being photographed.
Thank you!

Re: Montgomery is ELEVEN!!???
Thank you. I'm still trying to figure out what to get him. I'm thinking five foot tall pink teddy bear. He'd love sinking his claws into that. He's the best person I've ever known.

Montgomery is ELEVEN!!???
Montgmery is eleven years young. Crazy. Amazing. Too fast. Healthy as a horse and strong as an ox, but, oh, little cat, don't get old too fast.

Re: EPI dog coughing
Mary does this. Montgomery gags, coughs, and reverse sneezes. Both cats have IBD. Montgomery has EPI, IBD and SID. No one can give me a good answer as to why they do this. Mary is on Pepcid, which stops the vomiting but does not stop the gagging. With Montgomery, it gets to a point where I have to s...

Re: EPI Diagnosed…diets and moods?
I can only speak from personal experience. It was a long haul getting Montgomery diagnosed in the first place, and getting him stable after the fact was a journey. I won't bore you with all the details, but I will tell you this. If there is a good naturopath in your area, go. I think it saved our li...

Re: Questions about Saving Jack
Yes, they can undergo surgery and recover just fine. Because of his age, your veterinarian will likely want to take blood, though.

Re: reaction to enzymes ?
That's why I put Montgomery's enzymes into capsules. He had a huge ulcer on his tongue, and I don't think it was the only one (he didn't want us to look).

Re: wet or dry food?
Unless you're feeding a true dental diet, kibble has no effect on dental health. The idea that it does is a very old and stubborn myth. If you're concerned about your pup's teeth, there are a lot of things you can do. Healthy Mouth in the water dish, or applied as a dentifrice is quite effective. Ch...

Re: New To EPI-Not quite EPI with my girl
Thank you @ Montgomery! May I ask what other enzyme options, if any have you tried? He started out on Viokase, which helped a little, but because he is an obligate carnivore, the dose he would need to be anywhere near stable on that was astronomical, and the pills were massive and shattered when sp...
