Extra Enzymes
Hardest thing to write, but my Stewie passed away peacefully last week. She was 16. She was helped so much by this wonderful family when she was first diagnosed with EPI at the relatively old age of 13. Everyone's comments were so helpful when we were first addressing her new health condition. I don...

Re: Not eating...again
She had blood work when she came down with the UTI. All was good. It's funny how she goes from hungry and eating to hungry and refusing to eat. She ate a little this morning. Thank you for the responses. It is all just so frustrating. EPI is difficult, to say the least. I'll update with any new info...

Not eating...again
Stewie turned 15 last week. She was diagnosed with epi when she was 13. I know I've posted about her eating in the past. 2 months ago it got worse, where she lost a bunch of weight, acting weird and unsteady and she was diagnosed with a UTI. Her poops were not bad during this time. Per the vet, she w...

Heartworm positive and EPI
Has anyone had any experience with a heartworm positive EPI dog ? When the vet was trying to find out what was wrong with Stewie last year, she came up positive for heartworm. She had had a negative test 6 months before, and every time prior to that, and has always been on revolution. She doesn't ha...

Re: Regression?
I also agree with everyone here. My Stewie's poop starting to go south, she started acting sick again, and she had been stable for almost a year before. I asked the same question, received the same advice, and with the slight increase in enzymes and additional B12 (wonderlabs), she returned to norma...

Re: changing diet/enzyme amount months later?
Hi all! Just an update on Stewie. She's back up to "new normal" weight (she gained the 5-6 ounces she lost), isn't as ravenous, and everything else seems to be better than it was. I ended up increasing the enzyme by almost 1/8th tsp. Hopefully it stays working. Thanks for all your advice.....

changing diet/enzyme amount months later?
Hi again all. I'm Stewie's mom (the little black chihuahua, age 14, diagnosed last November). Stewie has been doing really good, with small little ups and downs. However, recently, I've noticed that she is acting EXTREMELY hungry again (like she was before diagnosis), and she's lost a few ounces fro...
