Re: Goat’s Milk?

Hi Patsy,
He chews pill pockets but the pasta tube is a good idea. He might swallow that whole. I give it a try! Thanks!

Re: Goat’s Milk?

Thank you for the replies! Bailey loves the goat milk but my vet has said it is too high fat for him and I’ve had no luck locating low fat goat’s milk. Unfortunately, the cans of food are just not cost effective since he would need 5 cans a day. I’ve been creative with putting his food on plates, th...

Goat’s Milk?

Hi, has anyone used raw goat’s milk as a topper for kibble? I’m back to having issues with Bailey eating. He was doing very well on Sport Dog Herding Elite but developed pancreatitis again so we had to switch to a low fat food. It’s been a struggle to find one he will eat. At this point he is on Ray...

Re: New EPI Diagnosis

Hi Everyone, I just got the results of Bailey’s B12 and folate tests back. His folate was normal but his B12 was 2000. I’m not supplementing his B12 at this time so I’m confused about the B12 levels. Has anyone else run into having B12 at these levels? I thought excess B12 was peed out of the system...

Re: back to loose stools

Hi Tony, Hope Jasper is doing better. I had an issue with Bailey not eating and someone suggested soaking his kibble. I also grind the kibble in the blender then soak it in 1/4 c of water. It really helped him. I used to have to add wet food to get him to eat. I don’t have to do that anymore. He was...

Re: New EPI Diagnosis

Hi Jill, May I ask what food you fed Mickey? We are in the process of switching over to Sport Dog Elite Herding. The fat content is 15%. Now I’m wondering if that’s too high. Low fiber and low fat would put us back on something like Royal Canin Gastro Low Fat but he didn’t do great on that food. Thi...

Re: enzyme storage

I just use the blue surgical masks and find it helps keep me from breathing the dust. I imagine if you could use the N95 for further protection. They’re a little expensive so I try to be careful measuring the enzymes and and just wear the less expensive mask. Now my boys know when they see me get th...

Re: enzyme storage

I’m very sensitive to the enzyme dust so I wear a surgical mask when I handle them.

Re: New EPI Diagnosis

Hi Everyone, I had a message from my vet’s office regarding my request for Bailey’s PLI results. I was told they didn’t run a PLI test since he had just had bloodwork at the end of June and his CPL was run then. The CPL was 387 at the end of June. I’m not sure what this means. The trial bag of Sport...
