Re: Need Help-Dog having another setback

Let us know what the blood results are. I'm thinking the B12 could be off.

Interesting about the water but it could very well be the cause of the mouth sores. You just never know with our EPI pups.

Re: Back to Square One with Santo

Hi Rebecca,

I'm thinking if Santo is "hunting", that could be a very good reason why SID is rearing it's ugly head. My Piper was famous for stealing food she shouldn't have and it most always caused issues. The gravel is scary as well because it can cause a blockage.

Re: Milo back on Tylan

My Piper was a Tylan lifer. As soon as I would stop, bad poops would start again. I had her on a maintenance dose of 1/8 tsp twice a day. I was reading about the acid reflux. My non EPI dog, Koda, gets an upset tummy quite often, eats grass, vomits bile. When this happens or when he's refusing food,...

Re: Zoe, spitting up clear liquid

Great to know that she is levelling out with the poop and the spitting up has stopped. My non EPI dog, Koda, takes Pepcid when he spits up clear fluid or bile. He has a sensitive belly and the Pepcid works really well. 6.6lb gain in 19 days is really good. It's amazing how fast they start to gain ba...

Re: New Member - Who's Lost

I'm just jumping in here to say welcome. You have already received amazing advice up top.

EPI is scary and overwhelming at first. We've all been there so don't ever think that any question you have isn't worth asking. Questions are how we learn from each other.

Re: Looking for advice

Hi and welcome to our EPI family. I was also scared and upset when the enzymes from the vet would have cost me $5,000 a year. I could not have kept Piper as I could not have afforded that. I quickly found this forum and enzyme diane and my cost dropped to less than $500 a year for enzymes.

Re: New Member

Welcome to our EPI family. EPI can seem so overwhelming at the beginning but it really does become routine in time. Don't hesitate to ask anything and everything. We welcome poop pictures also as it's a great way to see how your dog is responding. I definitely recommend keeping a log as things can g...
