UTI! Ughhhhhh
Howdy all! So Maya has a UTI, vet prescribed antibiotics which she started. Is there any way to give her GI system additional support? She is on daily probiotic regimen, etc.....but the mushy poo's have started. Would adding slippery elm help?

Re: Impossible to stabilize!
What kind of raw diet are you feeding? Some diets contain way too much fiber and that could be the cause of problems as well.

Re: Feeding Raw Pancreas
Hi. I utilize a full raw diet and it works beautifully. In fact it's the only diet that Maya can tolerate. As a puppy until about 1 1/2 years of age she struggled with commercial and RX diets. Her trainer suggested the change and it's been really great. I personally use Maximum K-9 (based in NY). Ot...

Re: Pre and Probiotics for SIBO?
Hi! So she was on the proviable first (1/2 recommended dose) and then I added the tylan.....probably not the right way to have done it. So I'll try the tylan first by itself as suggested and see what happens for 3 days and then take it from there! If she does ok after 3 days should I just continue f...

Re: Pre and Probiotics for SIBO?

Pre and Probiotics for SIBO?
Hello everyone! So I found this article from dogs naturally magazine and wanted everyone's input. I was intrigued when I saw an article on EPI and SIBO in dogs. According to this article, dogs with SIBO need what they call "the correct pre and probiotics" to manage SIBO well. Hmmmmm..... H...
