Re: When to test...please help advise
CBD did not help. But I haven't tried it since enzymes. Only before.

Re: When to test...please help advise
I happen to have a lot of experience with immune-suppressants. Eddie was on 4 at one point, including high doses of prednisone. The amount of information I have in my brain is way too high and I can't quite seem to get in onto this forum in a coherent way. The biggest thing I have to say, if you ar...

Re: When to test...please help advise
With the raw, I use various different proteins. I know Chance had issues with too much bone if it was coarsely ground. We know he only had EPI. With Rylee, I only saw undigested bone before enzymes, or before I got up to the right dose. The food she has now is so finely ground, and bone is ground to...

Re: I'm at a loss. Help, please.
You can try the sche-bo quick test to check for EPI. It's a lot cheaper, and you can do it at home. (Testing poop). You can get that from enzyme Diane website. It won't tell you the cTLI numbers, nor B12 or folate levels; but could either confirm or rule out EPI. That might be worth trying! Enzyme D...

Re: New Page on "possible" Cost Savings with enzymes
Darn. Amazon only ships the 00 enteric coated gelatin caps from the US. Estimated shipping is May 16th. I could get size 2 DELAYED RELEASE caps by end of week. Half the price! I think someone said they had success with delayed release? It says protects from stomach acids. I'm more nervous on this th...

Re: New Page on "possible" Cost Savings with enzymes
Well y'alk have me curious! I think I have Rylee back on track from the attempt at reducing enzymes. I'm going to order some enteric coated capsules and give it a try; after I crunch the numbers. I'm going to try to crunch numbers based on her current Creon dose (45,000 lipase units per meal 3x a da...

Oh wow. That's scary Olesia! Really scary! Really sorry about what you and your husband went through. I'll bring up gallbladder, etc with the vet on Wednesday. But I think it's going to fall on deaf ears. She seems quite intent that since "it's not EPI", IBD is the only possibility; and ne...

Re: When to test...please help advise
I was reading last night that gallbladder issues are more common than previously thought; as advanced imaging is becoming more advanced and more common. :/ I know Mickey had EPI already, so may be a difficult question to answer for sure. Did he ever get EPI symptoms from the gallbladder or other iss...

Re: New Page on "possible" Cost Savings with enzymes
Oooh. You fid try! 2 questions. 1) What would have been the normal dose of enzymes vs what's in the 4 capsules? Hopefully about half the amount? If unsure, try to fill 4 capsules as you did again, and dump in your measuring spoon. If it's too much, and the capsules were not punctured, it could be to...

Re: When to test...please help advise
Oh...that's interesting. So I guess it's not impossible then that it's gallbladder. I was told before that gallbladder issues in dogs were very rare. But then I seem to have a knack for finding dogs with rare genetic issues 🤔 That would be one reason to do an ultrasound sooner rather than later. But...
