1/8 teas twice a day for a few days or 1/8 teas total per day for a few days? Thank you so much!

Re: Zoe, spitting up clear liquid

New question/issue. As per my previous post from May, Zoe has been doing great. However, I think a few weeks ago, she ate some potting soil and probably some tall decorative grass (don't know what it's called) and then got diarrhea for about a week. I thought it would just pass after it was out of h...

Re: Zoe, spitting up clear liquid

I think the poop pictures are super important because I think if our vet would have asked us if Zoe’s poop looked like pale yellow cow patties, I know we would have gotten her diagnosed earlier, especially in combination to her low weight and unhealthy coat and tail! Not to mention all the poop acci...

Re: Zoe, spitting up clear liquid

Thank you everyone for all your support! Feel free to use these before and after pictures for any purposes or sources you desire. Permission given. I also should have mentioned that we were able to wean Zoe off of all Tylan, at least for now, and her poops still look pretty good. Just for grins, I w...

Re: Zoe, spitting up clear liquid

Hello, Long time no "see". Wanted to show you some before and after pics of Zoe. We have been treating her for EPI now for eight months now. She was 60 lbs at the start and now is at 92lbs. Yikes. We just cut her food back another 1/2 cup after last weigh in. Besides her weight, you'll not...

Re: Zoe, spitting up clear liquid

Jean, We are giving more Tylan than the initial recommendations on your site with Olesia’s help since Zoe was still having SID symptoms on lower dose and we also divide her doses in all three meals to help out too, again based on Olesia’s suggestions as seen on the previous posts here. I would love ...

Re: Zoe, spitting up clear liquid

Olesia, A few more questions. Zoe hit her goal weight of 77 lbs (from 60 lbs) Oct 31, 2018. We decreased her food according to the dog food instructions to maintain at this weight. We thought she was getting a bit chunky so we weighed her today and she is now 84.6 lbs. We are currently feeding her S...

Re: Zoe, spitting up clear liquid

Thank you again. So I will plan to finish this second 45 days of Tylan which has about three weeks left. Can you give me some guidelines on how best to wean her off as you have discussed in the past working better than stopping cold turkey. Some specific details like how much to lower the dose over ...

Re: Zoe, spitting up clear liquid

Hello again. So asking for another recommendation on Tylan dose. I am including a pic of Zoe's poop as I know how much all EPI folks love poop. You will see that is is very firm (a 2 on your poop chart), shiny but no visible mucous, and is a mixture of dark brown with some light brown pieces. For a ...
