Thanks Pam for sharing.... we REALLY appreciate it! In the meantime, Craig, who designed our website and lives in AUS, is also a firefighter and and artist.... the GUARDIAN just published a series of his pictures regarding not of the the firemen taking care of the fires, but rather how the firemen a...

Fires in Australia

Craig, the webmaster to this Epi4Dogs.com website, resides in Australia and has been on the front lines volunteering to fight the fires that are now ravaging Australia. Not only are the fires devastating to the Australian land, flora and people and their pets, but the animals are being burned alive ...

Re: How much Beef Pancreas?

I second what Madelon suggested.... my first recommendation would be to just prepare the food for each meal vs. preparing ahead and placing in the frig. Regarding how long.... 20 minutes is the average incubate time... some do less some do more. The ONLY thing i caution folks on is to not incubate m...

Re: How much Beef Pancreas?

Karina, This is Olesia. My EPI gal was diagnosed with EPI 13 years ago and 7 years ago developed IMHA (and Diabetes and Low Thyroid)... and 11 years ago she developed central brain vestibular disease . Believe it or not, she survived it all and she is now 14+1/2 years old, mostly deaf and blind, and...

Was thankfully rescued by the Pit Sisters and then lovingly cared for by Ms. Kofkyn and then adopted into an amazing and loving f...

Re: Cardiomyopathy group on face book

I agree with both Jean and Madelon..... in short... more research needs to be done, however, there does seem to be more of a prevalence in certain breeds in which case, if you have one of these breeds, be a little more observant with your dog- -as to what agrees or not.... however... remember, our d...

Re: Cardiomyopathy group on face book

I would also like to share a link from the Whole Dog Journal about Cardiomyopathy that recently came out (which i plan on uploading to our website) but IMHO it gives the very best overall coverage and known research about this issue. I thought this shed the best light (to-date) on the situation http...

Re: Roxy needs help !!! 8 year old female chihuahua

Hi Regina, I hope the Slippery Elm calms things down for her....if she does have IBS,,,,, the SLippery Elm will actually help her !!!! Technically Slippery Elm has mucilage properties, coats the intestines, so it may inhibit to a very small degree the full effectiveness of any medicine given. I pers...
