Re: My dog's isssues are running my life and my vet doesn't think there is a problem

Translation to me is the same conclusion that you are coming to.... the fiber/carbs agree with your dog. This is really a conundrum! Now i am REALLY stumped! Have you ev...

Re: My dog's isssues are running my life and my vet doesn't think there is a problem

my "guess" is that, once again, as Jill stated, her pancreas is inflamed... especially since in all the test the pancreas is showing high readings even though still within normal range. It may help to actually continue to give her pancreatic enzymes.... not the full recommended dose that EPI dogs re...

Hi.... sorry that you and your dog (who is a cutie!) is struggling so much.
Was the cPL done very recently or has it been a while... if so when?

Also..... with all this hair loss/shedding.... in addition to shedding....does she look like she has lost hair symmetrically on both flanks?

Re: Poop Smells like Mustard?

Glad the enzymes are working.... but this is just the beginning when you are trying to sort things out. I agree with Jill, please up the enzymes as she recommended..... BUT.... also keep an eye on the poos.. As sometimes what happens is that everyone gets excited cause the enzymes work and things ap...

Re: New to EPI. Mixture question

you can mix the powder in some water... but then, IMHO, it doesn't really mix well..... i found that it mixes better if you add the powder to the food and THEN add enough water to moisten the powder to the food, mix, let sit for 20 minutes and it should be good. Not sure how much food you are giving...

Re: Diabetes and EPI- What to Feed?

Also... with an EPI dog, the vet telling you the B12 is normal is NOT good enough.... please ask them for the exact B12 test results. EPI dog need to be in the UPPER-Normal range.... so sometimes when a vet says normal it is not a good B12 level for a dog. Regarding what fish oil to give there are m...
