Re: New To EPI-Not quite EPI with my girl
Hi Kat, First i'd like to say big Kudo's to you AND your vet..... even though the 7.2 TLI test result is not only out of EPI but also out of SEPI range ... i applaud your vet for wanting to try giving enzymes and see if they help. I am glad you are seeing improvement... i am sure this is a relief fo...

Re: Bad Breath
Yes...if you need to eliminate the brown rice then use white mashed potatoes in place of the brown rice.... and yes... in addition to the sweet potato already in the meal. As you know.....when trying a new diet.. it is all one-step-at-a-time "trial and error" ... take a lto of time but we ...

Re: Reagan - New to EPI
Hi Cheryl.... thankfully you and your vet did test Reagan for EPI.... now that she is confirmed with EPI, you can treat her accordingly. Regarding the B12 level of 433.... not good enough.... Please ask your vet to start B12 supplementation... either B12 shots (weekly) or B12 pills daily. The proble...

that is not the best method. SOme dogs do fine with refrigerated food & enzymes then brought up to room temperature naturally....... but many EPI dogs do not do well with this method, and it can encourage SID to get worse. My personal opinion is that you are better off just preparing the food wi...
