typically lentils are not that agreeable with EPI dogs..... peas/lentils (peas especially) can trigger or make SID/SIBO/Dysbiosis worse. Some dogs can have a little bit, but with others, it gives them an upset tummy, and stinky gas.... and eventually loose stools........ REgarding grains.... many EP...

hmm... if the acid reflux is really bad.... typically we suggest Omeprazole.... but if you can get Gastro Elm or even just SLippery Elm to help onstead of resorting to Omeprazole, that would be even better. Hopefully this helps. Please keep us posted

thanks Andrea for the detailed response. Although i personally have not had 1 dog with both conditions, over the many years we have had people sign in with dogs that had both EPI + Addisons, and same for EPI + Cushings... but as you said, once you get the right stats for the condition it's not so di...

wow Andrea.. you really got into it! Unfortunately it sounds like the lady did not have a clue about EPI and the specific enzymes requirement. i am going to leave you in Andrea's hands with this one. I had an EPI dog and i also had an "A-Typical Cushings dog ...... BUT.... i never had a dog with both....
