Re: One smelly little dog!

Hi Jill,

We are using Diane's Enzymes & are happy with the product mainly because Shad is doing so well.
We will try using a breath additive in her water. The toothpaste thing might be difficult so let's see how the breath additive works.

Thank you very much for your reply,
Joe

One smelly little dog!

Hello all, First let me thank everyone here who helped us from the beginning. Our Pug Shadow is doing well. She appears to be symptom free, poops are perfect (ha!) & according to the vet, is at a perfect weight (seems a bit skinny to me). She is in great shape, keeps up with the big dogs at the park...

Re: Newly diagnosed Pug

Hi Madelan & everyone, Sorry for the delay. We are dealing with another chronically ill furry roommate, one of our cats. Shadow has improved markedly. The weird behaviors have mostly subsided & her poo is always solid. Kind of a mix of yellow & the original (pre-EPI) brown. We are getting into the r...

Re: Newly diagnosed Pug

Hello all, First I want to thank everyone who's responded. We are truly overwhelmed by the response & are grateful we've found this community. There are a lot of questions & I am going to attempt to answer them all. The Tylan: It is a pale yellow powder. The label (from the vet) says Tylosin/Tylan. ...

Re: Newly diagnosed Pug

I topped it off with a little bone broth ( for dogs ) and a dollop of greek yougurt. She ate it all, but still has a sore looking snout. I will try t...

Re: Newly diagnosed Pug

Greetings, Thanks for the great suggestions ! Shadow will be 9 years in March. In answer to the questions about her meds, she had very elevated liver enzymes. We were then referred to an internist, where further bloodwork showed she had EPI. Hopefully, her liver enzymes will return to normal, and wi...

Newly diagnosed Pug

Hello, About 8 weeks ago our Pug, Shadow, started behaving strangely, had loose yellow stools, & was losing weight. The vet said it was highly unlikely she had EPI & had us try different treatments. After 4-5 weeks of continued problems, she was diagnosed with EPI (by a different vet). We are very h...
