Re: Demodex, ugh!

Hi and welcome to our EPI family. Olesia has given you great advice so I won't muddy the waters. But I will add to keep a detailed journal of everything you give and the resulting poop so you know what work and what doesn't.

Re: Is EPI Sudden Onset?

Hi Ben. Just wanted to check in to see how the poops are going. If you're still not seeing a big improvement and the food meets our recommendations, then you might want to try Slippery Elm Bark powder. It's a prebiotic mucilage that coats the gastrointestinal tract and work well for a lot of EPI dog...

Re: Just diagnosed and need help.

Hi Mary. Glad the poops are better, however, as Jean pointed out, if your dog has been confirmed EPI through the fasted blood test then she will need enzymes on any food she eats otherwise she won't digest the food and absorb the nutrients. If you could post the test results it would help us get a b...

Re: CREON 10000BPU

Hi Annie - I'm so sorry you had to say goodbye to your sweet Holly. Sometimes the most loving thing we can do is help them cross the bridge and ease their pain. Please try to remember that and all the happy, good times you had together. I'm sure Holly knew how much you loved her and you gave her the...

Re: New to EPI

Hi Liza - welcome! You said your dog was suspected to have EPI some time ago - has your dog been tested yet? If you have any questions or would like some suggestions, please feel free to start a new Topic so we can address your questions specifically and they don't get lost on someone else's thread :)

Re: New to EPI

Hi Amanda - welcome to our EPI family! I too am wondering about the B12 as it is a critical part of properly managing EPI. Also, unless your dog has another underlying condition that requires the prescription food, you don't need it and it could actually be part of the problem. We recommend grain fr...

Re: HAPPY 4TH JULY

I was afraid it was going to be worse with the city cancelling the show thinking more people would be buying and setting them of in the neighborhoods - luckily it wasn't as bad as I thought - dogs were still scared but it didn't last as long as I thought thankfully

Re: CREON 10000BPU

Hi Annie. You are not a terrible mum. You are doing all that you can to help your pup - unfortunately with EPI, until you get the four cornerstones of enzymes, B12, antibitiocs and food in balance you will have ups and downs. It sounds like the SID is still rearing it's ughly head. It can take some ...
