Re: Weimy Pup

Glad to hear things are going well with the extra meals and I'm really glad you ordered the B12 supplements. Hopefully once you start getting the B12 levels up it will help deter the poo eating. Are the poops normal poops now? If not then it's likely the lack of B12 and possibly SID and you may need...

Re: New to EPI

Hi Debbie! Welcome to our EPI family. Do watch for a possible allergy with the fish food - that happened to my Doc after being diagnosed with EPI and I switched his food to one that included fish and fit the EPI recommendations. Re: Serious Doggie Body Odor—HELP!!!!

Hi Vickie! Lots of EPI owners have reported a bad odor when starting EPI treatment but it usually goes away in some time. The researchers believe it is the rotten food in the gut - putrefaction.

Re: FLATULENCE

Hi Linda - welcome to our EPI family. Are you supplementing B12? What do the poops look like? With regard to the "toots" - it is likely SID flaring up. All EPI dogs have SID it's just a matter of keeping it under control. My first thought would be to make sure you are supplementing B12. If you're no...
