Re: Sudden increase in grass eating

My non-EPI dog constantly eats grass - I guess it's got something her body needs but she has perfect poop. Every now and then I'll catch my EPI boy eating grass for no apparent reason.

Re: B12

Not a dumb question - yes that's the right product but the dosing is not correct - we use the dosing that TAMU recommends for shots. I'm not sure if the dosing is the same for cats as it is for dogs. Olesia will be better to answer that.

Re: How to feed Heartguard/Bravecto?

Olesia - I use Spot On by Dr. Mercola https://www.chewy.com/dr-mercola-flea-t ... /dp/162935

I used to use Frontline but it literally burned Doc's skin two years ago so I stopped using it on both dogs.

Re: Tylan update

You could go ahead and try going to the maintenance dose - if you notice the poops going south then go back to the 1/4tsp and give it for the full 45 days then try to go to the maintenance dose.

Finding the Right B12 Dose

Hi! It's been a long time since I posted on the forum. I just thought I'd share my experience with supplementing B12. I have been using WonderLabs Pet Factor B12 since Doc was diagosed 6yrs ago and couldn't be happier. I gave him three pills a day when first diagnosed to get the level up quickly. Af...

Re: New member. 11 month old GSD with EPI

Hi! I'm so glad the B12 was mentioned as it is critical to properly managing EPI. When Doc was diagnosed his B12 was 406 (if I remember right) and my vet did not think it was necessary to supplement the B12 - after reading the research here I went ahead and ordered the WonderLabs Pet Factor B12 and ...

Re: Quick update

What a great update and thank you for the kind words. I hate to think of where we would all be or what would have happened to our fur babies if it weren't for Olesia starting this foundation/website/forum and Diane's affordable enzymes. Thank you for sharing your story with us - it's always great to...

Re: How to feed Heartguard/Bravecto?

Hi Jennifer. My EPI boy has pooped out a whole pill before - as far as I know it's only happened once. If my memory serves me correctly there has recently been some issues with Bravecto causing deaths in dogs - you might google and look it up. I only use an all natural flea/tick spot treatment and t...

Re: B12

Hi V! I'm so sorry your vet is not helpful - is there another vet you can switch to? I hope you're able to get the B12 - it's so important in managing EPI. Keep us posted.
