Re: Saying Goodbye
He's gone I can't believe my beautiful boy is gone. Tonight we had the vet come out to the house so we could say goodbye to Buzz in a comfortable environment. I miss him so much and so does Woody thank you so much for everything....we couldn't have gotten this far without you.

Re: Saying Goodbye
I just want to say thank you so much for all your kind words, I've been fighting back tears reading them. Whilst this is an incredibly hard time I'm trying my best to try and not get upset and just enjoy the time with both my boys. We have been going on walks (not too long though as Buzz gets tired ...

Re: Saying Goodbye
I am so so sorry to read this. You did everything you could and all you can do is love, love, love your pup! It is very difficult to say goodbye to our fur babies. We lost Taiko in April at age 12 1/2 and even that seemed too short of a time. Taiko had EPI but it was controlled and she died of othe...

Saying Goodbye
I just want to take this moment to say thank you to everyone who has helped us on our EPI journey. It has meant so much being able to communicate with people who understand what we have been going through. Unfortunately our EPI journey is finishing here. It is with deepest sadness and a very heavy h...

Re: Trialing no Creon.......scared
Thanks so much for all the info so far. Sorry I haven't given an update lately, I have been flat out following up things on this end regarding food, medication and vets. Buzz is doing a lot better than he was. I have been in contact with Olesia and she has been so helpful. I have had some recommenda...

Re: Trialing no Creon.......scared
Hi, seems like a lot has been going on with you, your dog and your vet. I would suggest in keeping things simple. I have used and been using Creon 10,000 (2) at Each meal. Just before my dog eats. I just place them in my hand with a little water and my dog licks them up. Then I also give her B12 wi...

Re: Trialing no Creon.......scared
Hi Danielle, Hang in there. You are doing great. You are dealing with so many things at once, plus the learning curve. It's all new. As Buzz stabilizes, it will get more manageable. Many vets do not have a lot of experience with EPI. Ours told us right from the beginning that he had only had 1 case...

Re: Trialing no Creon.......scared
Hi Danielle: I sent you an email yesterday for a link to the tylan dosing. I believe according to the weight (about 41 lbs) it says 1/8 teaspoon twice a day but recheck that. I can resend the link. Please let me know results from his labs. Did you happen to ask for the test specific to pancreatic l...
